ConnectiCare and Mental Health Connecticut to Host Men’s Mental Health Seminar

Inclusive workshop aims to empower attendees with tools to better manage mental health

June is Men’s Mental Health Month—a crucial time to raise awareness and break the silence. Men are four times more likely to die by suicide than women, yet far less likely to seek help or be diagnosed with depression. ConnectiCare invites the community to a free, inclusive workshop focused on men’s mental wellness.

Led by Jacquilyn Davis, CDP®, the session will focus on addressing stigma, sharing evidence-based resources, and breaking the silence around men’s mental wellness. Attendees will learn practical tools to support their own mental health, help others, and challenge the stigma that prevents many—especially men—from seeking the care they deserve.

WHERE: ConnectiCare Center, 1487 Pleasant Valley Road, Manchester, CT

WHEN: Wednesday, June 4, 5:30 – 6:30 PM

WHO: Jacquilyn Davis, CDP®, Director of Learning & Workforce Development, Mental Health Connecticut

Kimberly Kann, AVP, Growth and Community Engagement, ConnectiCare
