Our Piece of the Pie®, Inc. (OPP) Celebrates Their Annual Champions of Youth Event November 7th

Join OPP for an evening at The Hartford Yard Goats Club to celebrate youth success and the 2024 Champions of Youth Honorees.

Our Piece of the Pie®, Inc. (OPP) will host their 2024 Champions of Youth event on November 7th from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Hartford Yard Goats Club at Dunkin Stadium located at 1214 Main St, Hartford, CT.

Champions of Youth celebrates the accomplishments of OPP youth and honors key partners and supporters of OPP. The Champions of Youth honorees exemplify OPP’s mission, values, and are dedicated to supporting the young people OPP serves. We are proud to present the following awards:

·       Sam Gray, Community Leadership Award

·       M&T Bank, Supporter

·       Warren Hardy, Partner

·       Julie Watson, Partner

·       Carl Hardrick, Partner

Barbara Dalio, Co-CEO of Dalio Education, will present the OPP Alumni Award to Milliechel Ramirez. Millie’s story demonstrates the impact of connecting youth to educational opportunities and providing support as young people transition to the workforce.

The event will feature Symphonie Privett from Fox61 as the Emcee, along with an award ceremony, live music, a silent auction, youth speakers, and more.

Our Piece of the Pie is a non-profit, based in Hartford, CT, dedicated to empowering youth with the key competencies needed to overcome barriers and succeed in education and employment.
