MidState Medical Center Nationally Recognized for Breast Health

Meriden, CT — MidState Medical Center has been awarded the designation of Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence by the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers (NQMBC), the highest level of recognition.

This honor reflects the program’s commitment to providing the highest standard of breast healthcare across all aspects of the patient journey.

The NQMBC, developed by the National Consortium of Breast Centers, is a national benchmarking program designed to measure performance and quality in breast healthcare. Evaluation criteria include a wide range of metrics such as timeliness of care, adherence to medical and radiation oncology guidelines, genetic testing practices, pathology reporting standards, nurse navigation, and overall quality of services provided.
