Charter Oak State College to hold 2025 Commencement Ceremony Thursday, June 12, 2025

NEW BRITAIN, CT – May 30, 2025 – Charter Oak State College (www.CharterOak.edu), Connecticut’s public online college, will hold its 2025 commencement ceremony on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 6:30 PM, ET. The annual celebration of graduates will be held at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford, CT.
Degrees will be conferred to 525 students. This year’s Commencement Speaker and Honorary Degree Recipient will be Merrill Gay, Executive Director, Connecticut Early Childhood Alliance, Hartford, CT.
Jonathan Ley was selected to represent the graduating class as the 2025 Student Speaker. He is a resident of Plainfield, CT and is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
The entire event will be streamed live for graduates and their families who are unable to attend or prefer to celebrate at home.
